Could be offered in a Special Edition model.
IwanBanaran reports that the TVS Apache 200 could be offered in two or three variants, of which the higher-priced version, or a Special Edition model would feature Pirelli tyres. It is unclear from the spyshot which model of Pirelli is shod on the Apache 200.
The publication says that TVS is testing two variants of the Apache 200, one with Pirelli tyres and the other with IRC Roadwinner tyres. The report adds that TVS would launch ABS and non-ABS versions of their flagship motorcycle and that a debut is expected next month.
Known to be powered by a single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an oil-cooler and likely an SOHC arrangement, the Apache 200 is expected to feature around 25 PS of maximum power and 20 Nm of peak torque, mated probably to a six-speed gearbox.

Reports suggest that the motorcycle will be launched in India on January 20 or at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida in early February. Expected to be priced around INR 1 lakh (ex-showroom), the model will rival the KTM Duke 200 and the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI.
