Bajaj Discover to be replaced by a new sub-brand next year - Report

To be more premium than the Discover range.

It was earlier reported that Bajaj Auto has plans to introduce a new sub-brand of commuter motorcycles that will be positioned between the Platina and the Discover banners. The reports said that the first model under the new range of Bajaj commuters will be a 125 cc motorcycle.

Bajaj is said to introduce a new sub-brand of commuter motorcycles in the 125 cc to 150 cc segment which will eventually replace the Discover nameplate.

Bikewale now reports that the new sub-brand will eventually replace the popular Discover brand and that the new series will have 125 cc to 150 cc models. The publication also reports that the first product under the new sub-brand will be a 150 cc motorcycle and that a 'special feature' will debut on it.

The first motorcycle in the new sub-brand is said to be a 150 cc commuter.

The report also mentions that the new range of Bajaj commuters is designed from scratch and will sport a catchier styling than the Discover. They are said to be positioned as more premium products than the existing Bajaj commuters and that they would have more features in comparison.
