Uses Unicorn 160's engine.
IndianAutosBlog has learnt that the Honda CB Hornet 160R is slated for launch in the first week of December. Dealerships have started accepting orders for the motorcycle, for an advance payment of INR 5,000. This is the last vehicle from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India to be launched this year.
Unveiled at the Honda RevFest in early-August, the CB Hornet 160R is the premium alternative to the Honda CB Unicorn 160 that will compete with the likes of the Yamaha FZ-S FI (Version 2.0) and the Suzuki Gixxer. The Hornet 160R will replace the Honda CB Trigger, but is expected to be priced higher than the Unicorn 160.
