Reportedly launches in 3 variants.
With the Mahindra TUV300 all set to launch later this week on September 10, details about the compact SUV have been coming in thick and fast. A fresh report on Indianhoods reveals almost all of the important features the SUV is likely to have.
First up, there's a new engine on offer - M&M will equip the TUV300 with a 1.5-liter mHawk80 diesel engine. The report suggests that M&M have decided to extract 80 hp and 230 Nm out of the twin-scroll turbocharged diesel engine. Mated to it will be both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Front airbags and ABS are said to be standard across all variants of the TUV300. While the base variant is expected to add just power steering and aircon, the top-end is likely to get a touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera, power windows, and alloy wheels. M&M will only produce a 7-seater variant of the TUV300 and no 5-seater variant will be manufactured, claims IndianHoods.
It's to be noted that the images of the car that are floating on the web don't show a rear view camera.

While the site reports that the base variant is likely to get a price of INR 7 lakh and the top-end around INR 9 lakh, we expect M&M to price it more aggressively.
