Will be manufactured in Turkey.
The Fiat Egea hatchback will likely serve as the successor to the Fiat Bravo, and has been spotted testing in Europe. Fiat brand chief Olivier Francois had stated that the Egea hatchback will be “frugal, well-built and a practical car,” positioned alongside the Panda.
The car’s engine lineup will be borrowed from the Fiat Egea sedan, which may include a 1.4-liter petrol engine with 95 PS, 1.6 E.torQ producing 110 hp, 1.3 Multijet II capable of 95 PS and a 1.6 Multijet II with 120 hp. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic unit.
The Fiat Egea will also spawn an estate version, which could debut alongside the hatchback in 2016.
