Launched in India as the Maruti S-Cross.
Suzuki is currently prepping a facelift for the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross (or Maruti S-Cross in India), and a partially-camouflaged prototype was spotted testing in Europe. It is expected to arrive in European showrooms in 2016.
The front end is heavily camouflaged, suggesting that most of the changes will be concentrated there. Straight off the bat, it's clear that 2016 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will sport an upright front end with a new grille, updated headlamps and a redesigned bumper featuring a larger radiator grille.
While the side profile remains unchanged, the rear could get an updated pair of taillamps. The interior has also been captured, which reveals an identical design. The only change seen is the piano black trim for the center console housing a Smartplay infotainment system. It could also come with new interior color combinations and seat upholstery with contrast stitching.

Under the hood, it's unclear if the 2016 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will retain the same 1.6-liter DDiS diesel and 1.6-liter petrol, or pack the company's newest turbo petrol range. It could offer a 6-speed manual gearbox, while an AWD system is optional.
