PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) has displayed the third-generation Nissan X-Trail at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2015 (IIMS 2015) which according to a recent media report, is launching in India in the festival season.
Assembled in Cikampek, West Java, seven-seater SUV had debuted in the archipelago last year and features the 'V-Motion' grille, slim headlamps, D-pillar kink and C-shaped taillamps, in line with the international specification.
The Indonesian-spec model is powered by either a MR20DD 2.0-litre direct-injected four-cylinder engine that develops 144 PS and 200 Nm, or the QR25DE 2.5-litre MPI four-cylinder engine that develops 171 PS and 233 Nm. The former comes with either a six-speed manual transmission or an Xtronic CVT, and the latter only comes with the Xtronic CVT. Nissan sells the front-wheel drive variant to Indonesians, and does not offer the AWD.
Standard features on the Indonesian X-Trail are LED daytime running lamps, auto headights and Active Ride Control. Top-end models get full-LED headlights, automatic wipers, heated door mirrors, electrically powered front seats, keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, Around View Monitor, cruise control, 18-inch wheels, and leather seats.
Safety features include front dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Hill Start Assist, and Active Engine Braking.
The car is offered in Phantom Black, Premium Bronze Metallic, Smokey Grey Metallic, Floral White and Diamond Silver Metallic body shades.
