Fiat India has launched a limited edition on the Linea (2014 Linea) called the Linea Elegante, priced at INR 9.99 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
The exterior of the Linea Elegante sees a full bodykit with add-ons for the bumpers, side skirts, 16-inch alloy wheels, a black grille and roof, side body decals and a rear spoiler. Inside, a new touchscreen 6.5-inch entertainment and navigation system, new carpets, door sills and seat covers are the feature additions.
There are no mechanical changes to the Linea Elegante, but it will be offered only with the 1.3-liter diesel engine which develops 93 PS at 4,000 rpm and 209 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It delivers an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 20.4 km/l.

The 2014 Linea was launched in India in March 2014, however sales of the sedan are yet to gain momentum. In the first 6 months of this year, Fiat India has sold a mere 1,120 units of the Linea (2014 Linea and Linea Classic combined) averaging only 186 units a month.
