L&K edition features standard equipment like heated seats, adaptive dampers.
Ahead of an expected launch next year, the 2016 Skoda Superb was spotted undisguised on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, courtesy of IAB reader, Kunal Choudhary. Along with the standard model, Skoda will also sell the L&K edition of the Skoda Superb, with better interior equipment and exterior features.
The 2016 Skoda Superb made its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, featuring an evolutionary design that is influenced by the company's latest design language. It gets an angular pair of bi-xenon headlamps with LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, a strong shoulder line running across the side profile, and LED taillights.
Based on VAG's MQB platform, the Skoda Superb shares 50% of its internals with the 2015 VW Passat (B8). It is 75 kg lighter than its predecessor, despite growing by 80 mm in wheelbase, 47 mm in width and 28 mm in overall length.

Inside, standard equipment include heated seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive dampers with 3 driving modes, power-adjustable front seat with memory and lumbar support, triple-zone climate control, 8 inch Smartlink infotainment system, and a CANTON audio system.
Under the hood, a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine paired to a DSG gearbox will be offered, while a 1.8-liter TSI petrol variant is also in the cards, given that the current model is available with this engine.
