Ahead of its expected launch at the 2015 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show), reports have surfaced that dealerships have now started accepting bookings for the facelifted 2015 Toyota Avanza.
Prospective customers interested in buying one will have to shell out 5 million rupiah (INR 23,761) as a down payment. Another report from Autobild speculates that final prices of the facelifted Toyota Avanza will start from 180.5 million rupiah (INR 8.58 Lakhs) for the lower 1.3 E M/T, 209.6 million rupiah (INR 9.96 Lakhs) for the 1.5 G A/T, and 228.3 million rupiah (INR 10.85 Lakhs) for the range-topping Toyota Avanza Veloz.
The outgoing Toyota Avanza’s engines will be carried over to the facelifted model, which includes a 1.3- and 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT-i petrol developing 92 PS/119 Nm of torque and 104 PS/139 Nm of torque respectively.

Spyshots have revealed that the 2016 Avanza will get minor exterior upgrades such as new headlamps and more chrome treatment. The interior is expected to remain largely identical to the outgoing model.
