Honda have launched the 2016 model year of the Fit (what will launch in India as the Jazz) in the American market with prices starting at USD 15,790 (INR 10.02 lakhs). The 2016 Fit features minor changes to the trims and specifications, but there are no drastic improvements in other parameters.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder direct-injected engine which develops 130 hp and 154 Nm of torque. On the base LX trim, the Fit offers a 6-speed manual transmission, while other variants get a CVT gearbox.
Available in six variants, the 2016 Fit will be equipped with standard features like LED taillights, a rear spoiler, Bluetooth and a reverse camera. Higher up, safety features include side and curtain airbags with rollover sensor, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), traction control, Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), and Honda's LaneWatch system.
The top-end EX-L also benefits from the HondaLink 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, smart entry with push button start, a moonroof, automatic headlights and alloy wheels.

In India, Honda Cars India are gearing up to the launch of the new Jazz which is scheduled for July 8, 2015. The first batch of cars have been shipped to dealers, who are now accepting bookings for the Jazz.
