Part of Ford India's three-model onslaught in the next 9 months.
A reader of Gaadi has snapped images of the 2015 Ford Figo hatchback, which is due to launch a "few months" after the Figo Aspire, which enters the market next month.
Both engine variants of the 2015 Ford Figo are seen in these pictures. The hatchback is expected to borrow the 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol and the 1.5-liter TDCi diesel from the Aspire, though it remains to be seen if the 1.5-liter petrol with the 6-speed Powershift DCT is also made available for the hatchback.
The Figo hatchback seen in images is the Titanium variant, and gets the same 14-inch alloy wheels as the Aspire. A rear spoiler and a washer/wiper are features exclusive to the hatch.
Inside, the Figo sports an all-black interior with silver inserts for the steering wheel and center console, whereas its compact sedan sibling gets a dual-tone black and beige interior with piano-black inserts. The unique color scheme aside, the design is identical to the Aspire, as are the features.
A multi-function steering wheel, Ford's SYNC multimedia system, automatic climate control, front and rear power windows, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, dual-front airbags, and side and curtain airbags are seen on the Figo hatchback.

The Figo hatchback, like the Aspire, will be produced at the Sanand plant in Gujarat. Ford India will also export the hatchback from this plant, starting with South Africa.
