Ford India has revealed to the media last week that it will launch 3 vehicles in the next 9 months. Apart from the Figo Aspire, the next generation Ford Figo hatchback and the 2015 Ford Endeavour are part of this list, the American car maker further confirmed.
Speaking to Indian Autos Blog at the media drive of the Ford Figo Aspire, Mr. Nigel Harris, President and Managing Director of Ford India, said -
We said 3 vehicles in 9 months. You'll start to see the Endeavour before the end of this year, to look at, but in reality we'll bring it early next year.
An early-2016 introduction for the new Endeavour in India hints at a launch during the Auto Expo 2016, which takes place in the first week of February, and is India's largest automobile show.
Ford India has already imported prototypes of the new Endeavour for testing and homologation purposes. The SUV, when launched, will continue to be assembled at the car maker's Chennai plant, from Thai-made CKD kits.

For the Indian market, the Endeavour is expected with a 2.2-liter TDCi four-cylinder diesel, and a 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine, the latter being exclusively paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
2016 will also see the Indian launch of the next generation Toyota Fortuner, which has already been revealed in spyshots with a thoroughly revised exterior and interior, as well as the Pajero Sport meeting its next generation, giving the INR 20 lakh SUV segment a rejuvenation.
