Expected to continue with the 1.3- and 1.5-liter engines.
Autonetmagz has spyshots of the 2015 Toyota Avanza (facelift) which is expected to be rolled out later in the year.
Starting at the front, the Avanza sports thoroughly redesigned headlights, an all-new chrome embellished grille and a new front bumper with a larger airdam. Changes at the rear include new reflectors which appear like split taillights, and a chrome garnish for the registration plate enclosure.
The Avanza facelift is unlikely to see any mechanical updates. The Ertiga-rivaling MPV is offered with 1.3- and 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT-i engines with manual and automatic transmissions. The 1.3-liter engine is good for 92 PS and 119 Nm of torque while the 1.5-liter unit produces 104 PS and 139 Nm of torque.

The Avanza is also sold under the Daihatsu badge, called the Daihatsu Xenia. A facelift for the Xenia is also expected to arrive by the end of this year. The Avanza, which rivals the likes of the Suzuki Ertiga and Honda Mobilio, has the highest market share in its segment of 14.3 percent, and is consistently among the top 5 cars sold in that market every month.
