Offroad-centric version of the standard Jimny.
Suzuki has unveiled a special edition of the standard Jimny for the Italian market, which focuses on city driving as well as tackling rough terrain. Called as the Suzuki Jimny Street, only 100 units will be made, thus making it a rare model.
Compared to the standard model, the Street only features cosmetic changes such as orange accents on the foglamp enclosure, hood intake, side view mirrors, and roof rails. The bumpers and side moldings are painted in glossy grey, while the 15-inch alloy wheels are finished in a dark grey shade as well.
The only changes inside are orange accents that replace the dark silver trim in the standard model, as well as a touchscreen infotainment system.
Power is sourced from a 1.3-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. It can be paired to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission while a 4WD system is offered as standard.
The 2015 Suzuki Jimny Street is priced at EUR 19,900 (INR 14.36 lakhs). Given that the standard Suzuki Jimny isn’t sold in India, the special edition Street model will also follow suit.
