Reported to get Fiat-sourced 1.3- and 1.6-liter diesel engines.
Seen in these spyshots are the interiors of the India-spec Maruti S-Cross, which will be revealed on June 7, 2015, at the IIFA Awards Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated controls for the touchscreen infotainment and navigation system (dubbed Maruti SmartPlay system), perforated leather seats, central armrest, silver accents for the center console and door pads, and a rear AC vent are the features observed on the S-Cross.
Compared to the international S-Cross, the Indian model gets a new dual-slat chrome grille and ditches the 'SX4' badging on the bootlid. However, it receives LED daytime running lights, projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Power for the S-Cross in the Indian market will reportedly come from diesel engines - a 1.3- and 1.6-liter unit - sourced from Fiat. The 1.3-liter MultiJet will make about 90 bhp while the more powerful 1.6-liter will produce 120 bhp on the S-Cross and will also introduce a 6-speed manual gearbox.
