The S-Cross and the Ciaz will be sold under the premium range of Nixa dealerships.

Compared to the international S-Cross, the Indian model gets a new dual-slat chrome grille and ditches the ‘SX4’ badging on the bootlid. However, it receives LED daytime running lights, projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Power for the S-Cross in the Indian market will reportedly come from diesel engines – a 1.3- and 1.6-liter unit – sourced from Fiat. The 1.3-liter MultiJet will make about 90 bhp while the more powerful 1.6-liter will produce 120 bhp on the S-Cross and will also introduce a 6-speed manual gearbox.
