Expected to launch this calendar year.
As per new reports, Fiat India will announce hotter Abarth versions of the Fiat Punto Evo and the Avventura this year. Like the VW Polo GT TSI, Fiat is also looking to popularize the hot hatch segment with these two power-packed models.
A slew of spyshots of the Abarth Punto Evo, and Avventura have come again from Himachal Pradesh, courtesy of My Fiat World.
Compared to the standard model, the Abarth Punto Evo gets ‘Scorpion’ alloy wheels, color-contrasting wing mirror covers, lower side decals, a ‘T-Jet’ badge at the back, a new exhaust system and the Abarth Scorpion badges that replace the Fiat badge (covered in the spyshots).
Like the exterior, the interior of the Abarth Punto Evo also looks largely identical to the standard model, save for mild performance-themed changes. Interior differences include the ‘Abarth scorpion’ badges, fabric seats with contrast stitching, sportier instrument dials and aluminium pedals.
