Features only cosmetic upgrades.
Holden has unveiled a range-topping variant of the Holden Colorado pick up truck, which will make its public debut at the Game 2 of State of Origin 2015. The Chevrolet Colorado-based Ford Ranger Wildtrak-rival features cosmetic upgrades that injects a dynamic character in the LTZ variant it’s based on.
Exterior changes include 18-inch Arsenal Grey Metallic alloy wheels, dark chrome finished headlamps, black bonnet decals with Z71 branding, black door handles and mirror caps, side door mouldings, truck bed step trim, black roof rails, streamlined soft tonneau, Z71 decals on side bed and tailgate.
The only interior changes are premium leather upholstery and front seat heaters. Other standard features include a rearview camera and a Mylink infotainment system with a seven-inch display.
Powering the Holden Colorado Z71 is a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 200 hp and 440Nm with a 6-speed manual transmission (500Nm with the auto). Its brake towing capacity is 3500 kg.
The Honda Colorado Z71 is priced at AUD 54,990 (INR 27.10 Lakhs) for the manual gearbox model and AUD 57,190 (INR 28.19 Lakhs). Although this is never going to make it to the Indian market, its American brother, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, will be launched later this year.
