The 6 Series facelift for India would continue with the 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine.

Revealed in December last year, the 6 Series facelift gets modest design changes, but its mechanicals continue unchanged. The front fascia receives a new kidney grille, a redesigned bumper and standard LED headlights.

New alloy wheel patterns, a subtly revised rear bumper and four new color choices are the other exterior changes seen on the four-door coupe. The interior continues unchanged save for new two-tone leather upholstery options and “improved material quality”.

For the Indian market, the 6 Series will be come in the 640d variant, which is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine capable of 313 hp at 4,400 rpm and 630 Nm of torque between 1,500-2,500 rpm. The drive is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling a top-speed of 250 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 5.4 seconds.
