The Trailblazer is likely to be offered with the 2.8-liter diesel engine for India.

In markets like Thailand and Philippines, GM introduced an updated 2015 model year of the Trailblazer with improved NVH levels, better features and more powerful diesel engines. A 163 hp/380 Nm 2.5-liter diesel engine and a 200 hp/500 Nm 2.8-liter diesel engine power the Trailblazer in these markets. Sources close to the development of the project say that GM India would offer the more powerful engine, paired to manual and automatic transmissions.

Inside, the updated Trailblazer receives a piano-black finish for its center console and Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system with a touchscreen display. A sportier trim with LED daytime running lights and redesigned bumpers with a chin spoiler was recently introduced for the Filipino market.
