Gets additional exterior styling kits and interior features.
Suzuki Motor Thailand displayed the Suzuki Ciaz 'Aero' version, next to the Ciaz 1.25-liter Ecocar, at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show. This derivative version is akin to the sportier variant that Maruti Suzuki is reported to be working on, dubbed the Ciaz RS/Ciaz Sports.
The Thai Ciaz Aero gets an exterior styling kit as well as a few interior features. For sporty aesthetic appeal, the Aero kit includes skirts for both sides and bumpers with diffuser-like element at rear, and a large rear spoiler.
The interior upgrades leave it with leather seat upholstery, touch-screen LCD infotainment unit that has Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and CD/MP3, and GPS navigation. The system also boasts smartphone connectivity via MirrorLink app.
The mechanical specifications of the sedan remain unaltered. The Thai-spec Ciaz including the Aero version gets a 1.25-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine (K12B) making 91 hp (as reported by Thai media). A CVT automatic transmission is standard, with both engine and gearbox borrowed from the Thai-spec Swift hatchback.

As for the Maruti Ciaz, a dull gray/matte finish alloys in place of the existing 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels may find a place in the Sporty. Earlier this year, Maruti launched the top-spec Ciaz Z+ trim with a touch screen infotainment system, a feature also expected on the Ciaz Sports/RS.
