Ground clearance up by 20 mm.

Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Niraj Jain, spotted the forthcoming Hyundai i20 Active (cross) recently, with two interior options. Hyundai will indeed offer customers the choice of two interior color schemes on the i20 Active depending on the exterior color.

Hyundai i20 Active blue dashboard
Aqua Blue and Tangerine Orange are the color choices for the interior of the i20 Active.

The first, which is called Tangerine Orange and Black, sees an all-black dashboard with orange inserts for the AC vents, music system, gear shift knob and seats. The second option, called Aqua Blue and Black, sees the top-portion of the dashboard and door inserts finished in light blue, while the seats get a matching blue shade as well.

Apart from the dashboard colors, another change observed on the i20 Active are the sport pedals.

Outside, the image below shows the i20 Active next to the car its based on, the Elite i20, and the design changes are clearly seen. Redesigned bumpers with a new grille and circular foglight enclosures, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights and cornering lights, roof rails, new alloy wheels and side body cladding surmise the changes Hyundai has made to the Active.

Hyundai i20 Active vs Elite i20
The i20 Active has better torque delivery despite retaining the same engines at the same power and torque outputs as the Elite i20.

The i20 Active gets a 20 mm higher ground clearance than the Elite at 190 mm. There are no changes to the power and torque outputs of the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.4-liter diesel engine, but Hyundai is claiming a 6 percent better torque delivery for the petrol and 11 percent for the diesel.
