Ducati India prices leaked with complete model range – Report

Ducati Motorcycles is once again to set foot in India. This time the Audi-owned Italian manufacturer is set to launch directly with no local tie-ups and will unveil a long and potent lineup. Appearing first on BikeAdvice, here’s the list of all the Ducati models to be available in India, along with their leaked prices:

Ducati Scrambler: INR 6.38 lakh onwards

2015 Ducati- Scrambler Icon Front Right Three Quarters

The latest addition to the Ducati range, the Scrambler is the most affordable Ducati that the company has manufactured till date. The motorcycle would be manufactured in Thailand and imported as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU). The Scrambler range would consist of the Scrambler Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and the Full Throttle.

Competitors: Triumph Bonneville, Benelli TNT600

Ducati Monster Range: INR 7 – 25 lakh

2015 Ducati Monster 1200 Right Front Three Quarters

The Ducati Monster range of naked streetbikes start from the Monster 795 and go all the to the Monster 1200. The Monster range would be priced in India between INR 7 – 25 lakh range.

Competition: Triumph Speed Triple, Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Z800, Kawasaki Z1000, Yamaha FZ-1, Honda CB1000, DSK Benelli 899, Aprilia Shiver 750, Aprilia Tuono V4R, BMW S 1000 R.

Ducati Hypermotard: INR 10 – 12 lakh

2015 Ducati Hypermotard Right Front Three Quarters

The Ducati Hypermotard as the name suggests, is the fun-loving, slip and slide motards of the Ducati range. For India, the range would consist of the Hypermotard and the Hypermotard SP and the Hyperstrada. The Hypermotard and SP models come with a 821 cc, liquid-cooled, Testastretta L-Twin engine, capable of producing 110 bhp power and 89 Nm of torque. The Hyperstrada on the other hand, is a more touring oriented version with the same engine in the exact same state of tune.

Ducati Panigale Range: INR 13.3 – 46.25 lakh

2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale S Right Front Three Quarters

The Panigale range consists of track-bred supersport machines from the Italian manufacturer. Starting the range is the Ducati Panigale 899, which would be priced at INR 13.32 lakh, while the latest 1299 Panigale would be available in two version, the Ducati 1299 Panigale and Ducati 1299 Panigale S. The most expensive motorcycle at the top of the range would be the 1198 cc, L-Twin, Ducati Panigale R, which produces 205 bhp power and 136 Nm of torque.

Competition: BMW S 1000 RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Triumph Daytona 675/R, Honda CBR1000RR, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Yamaha R1, Kawasaki Ninja H2.

Ducati Diavel: INR 13.82 – 37.20 lakh

2015 Ducati Diavel Right Side Profile

The Diavel is Ducati’s power cruiser with a mean look. The Diavel sports Ducati’s 1198 cc, liquid-cooled, L-Twin engine that is tuned to produce 162 bhp power and 130 Nm of Torque. For India, all three variants, the Diavel, Diavel Carbon and the range-topping Diavel Titanium would be available for sale.

Competition: Yamaha V-Max

Ducati Multistrada 1200: INR 14.02 – 20.61 lakh

2015 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Right Side Profie

Ducati’s adventure tourer gets updated for 2015 with a smoother and more powerful engine and more sophistication to its electronics. Featuring a full LED headlight, the Multistrada 1200 boasts various rider modes, traction control, cornering ABS, Cruise control, electronically adjustable suspensions and wheelie control.

The Multistrada 1200 would be available in five different variants with the base variant priced at INR 14.02 lakh and the top Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak variant priced at INR 20.61 lakh.

Competition: Suzuki V-Strom 1000, Kawasaki Versys 1000, BMW R 1200 GS, Triumph Tiger 800, Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer.
