Bajaj Pulsar RS200 teaser
Bajaj has started teasing the RS200 on multiple social platforms, and calls it the ‘Fastest Pulsar Yet’.

According to Bajaj’s Turkish website, the new Pulsar is powered by same single-cylinder 199.5 cc liquid-cooled triple-spark engine as the Pulsar 200 NS. However, where the 200 NS makes 23.52 PS and 18.3 Nm of torque, the RS200 will make 24.4 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque. The fully-faired motorcycle will get a 6-speed transmission.

The RS200 will be the first Pulsar to come with ABS, though it remains to be seen if this is a standard fitment or an optional one. The brakes themselves are a 280 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear.

The RS200 will have its dimensions at 2,060 mm x 750 mm x 1,160 mm (L x W x H). A 165 mm ground clearance, a 12 liter fuel tank and a 151 kg kerb weight are other known specifications.

Bajaj has specced the motorcycle well with twin projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and a semi digital cluster.

Claimed to be the ‘fastest Pulsar yet’, Bajaj has started teasing the motorcycle on its social media channels ahead of next week’s launch. A dealer in Kolkata has already received the motorcycle, and more dealers are expected to get their inventory in the coming days, Indian Autos Blog was told by dealer-level sources.
