Weighs 6 kg more than the Pulsar 200 NS.
According to a report on BikeWale, the highly-awaited Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will have its Indian market launch on March 27, 2015. Known earlier as the Pulsar 200 SS, Bajaj revealed the RS200 name earlier this week on its social media channel.
Bajaj's website for the Turkish market was updated recently with the spec-sheet of the RS200. The fully-faired motorcycle will be powered by a single-cylinder 199.5 cc liquid-cooled engine producing 24.4 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
This engine, which boasts of Bajaj's triple spark technology, is expected to come with a high fuel economy and low emissions, according to the company.
Standout features on the RS200 will include 'crystal' LED taillights, twin projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, a muscularly designed tank and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Other specifications of the RS200 include its 280 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brake of the butterfly type, 100/80 at the front and 130/70 at the rear tyres, a telescopic front suspension and a single spring rear damper, and a kerb weight of 151 kg.
The RS200 is about 6 kg heavier than the Pulsar 200 NS. Also, where the RS200 gets a 12 liter fuel tank, the 200 NS comes with a larger 14.3 liter tank.
