To be introduced later this year with AMT variant.
Mahindra is currently working on facelifts of many of its models, one of them being the sub-4m Quanto. The new Quanto is expected to be launched in the second half of the year, featuring cosmetic changes and new variants.
Latest spyshots indicate that the 2015 Quanto will introduce an air scoop on the hood, new headlamps, a new grille design inspired by the bigger Mahindra XUV500, and a revised bumper. A MotorOctane report suggests that the Quanto's interior features a new music system with Bluetooth support, a new steering wheel and slight improvements in build quality.
Significant changes would be seen underneath the body. Mahindra has, reportedly, revised the suspension settings for better stability and comfier ride. The other change is the inclusion of automated-manual transmission (AMT) as an option. Otherwise, the chopped Xylo will be powered by the same 1.5-liter three cylinder diesel that drives the rear wheels.
