The 2016 Evoque will be the first Land Rover to come with full LED adaptive headlights. Land Rover has also announced that the SUV will come with a new engine line-up, new safety and convenience features, and interior enhancements.

The new engine line-up could include Jaguar Land Rover’s Ingenium range, which is announced for the Jaguar XE. The engine in question is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel unit which is available in states of 163 PS and 180 PS on the XE sedan.

According to Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, the “challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design”. Land Rover has sold over 400,000 units of the Evoque till date.

While the Evoque is only available as a 3- or 5-door hardtop, reports suggest that the long rumored Evoque Cabriolet will be introduced this year.
