To be launched in the coming weeks.
The Maruti Dzire facelift has been spotted at a dealership yard, by The Automotive India and Gaadiwaadi. The vehicle is expected to be launched early next month.
As earlier spyshots reveal, the updated front-end comes with new dark-tint headlamps with fresh detailing, a single-slat chrome grille, chrome embellishment around the foglamp, and a bigger air intake. At the rear the compact sedan gets a new bumper.
Interior spyshots reveal no immediate changes or additions, though the images here are not of the top-end ZDi variant, and keyless entry and push button start, features that the Maruti Swift was updated with last year, were reserved to the high-end ZDi and ZXi.
The Swift facelift also benefited from a 10 percent improvement in fuel efficiency (petrol variant up from 18.6 km/l to 20.4 km/l and diesel variant up from 22.9 km/l to 25.2 km/l) thanks to a modified fuel injection system and new engine oil. As the mechanical carriage of both cars are the same, the Dzire is highly likely to carry these updates.
Another update will come to the Dzire's body colour choices. New shades of white, blue and magenta have been added to the options, a past spyshot showed.
