Ford introduces Vehicle Personalization Centre in India – IAB Report

To begin with three customization options for the Ford Ecosport.

Ford India has announced that they have introduced a Vehicle Personalization Centre, a first of its kind for Indian customers who wish to further customize their Ford vehicles. The first vehicle to be offered with the choice of personalization is the Ford EcoSport, with subsequent models expected to follow soon.

It is located in Ford India’s Chennai factory, and is the first such Ford-operated unit in the Asia Pacific region.

The personalization centre is located in Ford India’s Chennai factory, and is the first such Ford-operated unit in the Asia Pacific region.The centre will feature 19 modification bays operated by Ford’s technicians, where assembled vehicles would be redirected to the centre to receive the bespoke treatment as per the respective customer’s desire.

The Vehicle Personalization Centre will begin with three customization options for the Ford EcoSport, which include:

  • Spare Wheel (Cover) Pack for all EcoSport variants
  • Alloys Pack that offers premium quality alloys and rear-spoiler for EcoSport’s Ambiente and Trend trims
  • Sports Pack that includes rear-spoiler, LED scuff plate, roof cross-bar for EcoSport’s Titanium and Titanium (O) trims

The centre will feature 19 modification bays, where work on fitting the packs will be carried out.

Prospective customers interested in Ford’s new personalization program for the EcoSport can spec their model with one of the packs available while booking, and then place the order at their respective dealer.
