Expected to be launched in June 2015.
Though VW India introduced a small update for the Vento in September 2014, the German car maker will reportedly launch a facelift for the sedan by June 2015, which could bring minor cosmetic changes for the half-a-decade old sedan.
A new set of spyshots reveal the changes in tow for the mid-size sedan, which are mostly cosmetic. A new rear bumper with a cutout for the exhaust tip, a body-painted line running across the bootlid, a redesigned grille, and a new front bumper (covered up to look like the current model's design) seem to be the list of changes on the outside.
Inside, the facelift retains the same changes introduced in the 2014 Vento (current model). The only visible change is the darker shade of beige for the two-tone interior.
Under the hood, the 2015 Vento will keep the same engine lineup offered for the current model, which includes a 1.5-liter TDI producing 105 PS (103.52 bhp) at 4,400 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500-2,500 rpm. A 5-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG are the gearboxes of choice.

The Vento is exported by VW India to over 32 countries in the world. Last year alone, one in two cars made at their Chakan factory was exported.
