Will be launched in the coming months.
The interior of the 2015 Ford Ranger has been spotted, and these images posted by Auto Industriya confirm that it will share many parts in common with its upmarket SUV sister, the 2015 Ford Endeavour.
The revamped dashboard, as seen on the Endeavour, includes a large touchscreen system (likely to be Ford's new SYNC2) slightly recessed, flanked by large AC vents. Below are the climate control knobs, and a manual gear-shift, as seen on the Endeavour mule recently. Besides that are a few buttons, which could be for the upgraded 4x4 system, adds the report.
The steering, a multifunction unit wrapped in leather, continues with a similar design but gets additional buttons. A central speedometer with two screens on its sides in the instrument cluster, and an added set of controls positioned below the driver-side AC vent are the main differences.
Current engine options (market dependent) include a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder Duratorq diesel, 3.2-litre 5-cylinder Duratorq diesel, and a 2.5-litre petrol. Gearbox choices include five and six speed manuals, and a six speed automatic, and these are likely to go unchanged.
