The India-bound new Ford Endeavour is based on the Ranger.
Using a YouTube video, Ford has officially shown how the Ford Ranger facelift is going to look like. After a couple of similar videos, Ford had earlier revealed the next generation Everest (Endeavour) SUV, too.

Much like the upcoming, India-bound Ford Endeavour, the Ranger adopts a new stylish yet very rugged overall design. The front end is characterized by the large chrome hexagonal grille, new look headlamps flanking it, and a body coloured skid-plate. On the sides, it uses a similar design as its SUV sibling but with a loading bay.
The current version launched in 2010, meanwhile, is being sold with a choice of two diesel engines: a four-cylinder 2.2-litre TDCi engine that makes max power and torque figures of 150 bhp and 375 Nm respectively, and a five cylinder 3.2-litre TDCi engine that makes 200 bhp and 470 Nm of corresponding values. This is unlikely to change on the facelift.

The Ranger is likely to go on sale early next year, while the same can be said about the new Everest. The latter will reach the showrooms in India next year as the New Ford Endeavour, and will join the brand's other two launches in 2015 - the Ford Figo (Ka) hatchback and the Figo compact sedan made at the new Sanand plant - to make it Ford India's busiest year in its history.
