To be launched in early 2015.
Ahead of its launch expected sometime in early 2015, the Maruti SX4 S-Cross has been spotted again by Gaadiwaadi. The latest spyshots reveal that the India-spec model (at least the higher variants) offer HID headlights and integrated daytime LED running lights.
It can also be observed that the grille has been revised to incorporate two thicker horizontal chrome slats compared to the international version's three slat grille. Chrome inserts on the foglamp enclosures and a silver skid-plate round off the front fascia design. The website has also come up with a rendering of the crossover, incorporating the India-specific changes.
The powertrain lineup of the international version includes 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines. The 1.6-litre diesel is a Fiat-sourced unit. The petrol motor is available with a 5-speed manual or a CVT while the diesel gets a 6-speed manual unit. Both engines are available with an optional AllGrip all-wheel drive system.
