The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport AT has been launched in India at INR 23.55 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Available only in the 4×2 configuration, the new variant is positioned below the top-end Pajero Sport 4×4 MT. The 2.5-litre 16-valve four-cylinder diesel engine which employs an intercooled turbocharger has been retained. Power and torque figures stand at 178 PS (175.49 bhp) at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm between 2,000-2,500 rpm respectively. The 5-speed automatic gearbox is a torque-converter type unit.

Alongside the automatic gearbox, Mitsubishi has updated its lone Indian model with a chrome grille and revised bumper. The interior remains unchanged save for a new multi-information display. The manual variants have already reached dealerships.

The automatic variant is available only in the 4×2 configuration.

The automatic SUV is assembled alongside its manual siblings at Hindustan Motors’ plant in Tiruvallur near Chennai. The Pajero Sport AT offers automatic climate control, reverse parking camera and a multimedia infotainment system as standard features.

Globally, Mitsubishi is currently working on the next gen Triton pickup which will spin off the next gen Pajero Sport.

    Cheep looking alloys…. Learn from Hyundai cars…. Even xcent has better looking allows than this….. What a shame….. You killed Montero….Lancer….Cedia…. As then list is still on I suppose
