BMW India launched the refreshed M5 at a price of INR 1.354 crores, ex-Showroom, All India.
First up, the engine powering the M5 is the same 4.4-liter V8 TwinPower turbo motor, producing 560 hp and 680 Nm of torque. Paired to a 7-speed double clutch transmission, the rear wheel drive M5 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds before hitting a top-speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited).
BMW claims CO2 emissions of 232 g/km and a fuel efficiency of 10.1 km/l.
On the outside, the M5 now gains adaptive LED headlights and is available with a new alloy wheel design. Inside the performance sedan, a new M steering wheel, chrome trim for the control display of the iDrive, and an increase in volume of the storage compartment under the armrest in the centre console are the noteworthy changes.
For the Indian market, the M5 is available in Alpine White (non-metallic paint), Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect, Monte Carlo Blue, Sakhir Orange, Silverstone, Singapore Grey and Space Grey. A standard Leather Merino upholstery is seen on the car.

BMW will further bolster its M range of products in India by launching the new M3 and M4 on Thursday (November 27).
