Sorry the sales figures of the past 6 moths clearly depict that Honda City despite of the older shape is still much ahead of the new Corolla in Pakistan.

its not that new model which has been launched in rest of Asia.
    Honda cheated Pakistani people.
The model launched in rest of Asia has no match with Pakistani 2014 city.

The face lift features offered in the new city are very nice, specially the new blue colored meter, The most important aspect is that the car with fresh modifications if offered without increase in price. I would say that Honda city after the face lift only is still much ahead to the new generation corolla if we compare the features with respect to the price!

Poor economic conditions in Pakistan forced Honda to launch the facelift without increasing the price tag and secondly for giving competition to 11th generation corolla which has recently been launched in Pakistan

Not exactly, due to launch of 11th gen corolla, most of the buyers preferred the new corolla over 6-year old shape of city. Hence city faced declining sales so just to attract buyers back and to clear the remaining stock so that they could launch the new version, they have introduced the facelift model at the same price!

Am so sorry Jai but that ain’t true. The 11 th gen corolla has been a total failure in Pakistan due to no added features from the previous version and high pricing. Moreover the technology of Corolla 2014 is outdated. 4 speed Automatic transmission has vanished from the world and its not anywhere in the world now for the sedan cars. So you see, these indus motor people they are making all of us fools by offering outdated technology at a extremely high price.
