Based on the Punto Evo, the Avventura is priced between INR 5.99 lakhs to INR 7.05 lakhs for the petrol variants, and between INR 6.89 lakhs to INR 8.17 lakhs for the diesel variants, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
The exterior of the Avventura comes with aluminium roof rails, skid guards, body cladding, 16-inch alloy wheels and an external spare wheel. Thanks to these features, the Avventura is slightly larger than the Punto Evo at 3,989 mm in length, 1,706 mm in width and 1,542 mm in height. The wheelbase and interior space though are identical to the Punto Evo. Even the boot volume of 280 liters is the same.
The Avventura’s 1.4-liter ‘FIRE’ petrol makes 88.7 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, and claims an ARAI rated mileage of 14.4 km/l. The 1.3-liter ‘Multijet’ diesel is good for 91.69 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 209 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, and is rated at 20.5 km/l. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes standard.
The Avventura is produced at the Tata-Fiat joint venture plant in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra. This plant is expected to cater to certain export markets, and Nepal could be the first.
