Shares its underpinnings with the Go hatchback.

Nissan India's newly appointed president, Guillaume Sicard, told PTI that the Datsun Go+ MPV will launch in the country in the first part of 2015. The company seems to have pushed back the launch of the car, which was earlier announced to enter the market this year.

The Go+ will be the second product for Datsun in India.

The Go+ will be the second product from Datsun in India, and is already on sale in the Indonesian market where it retails from 85 million Rupiah to 102.9 million Rupiah (INR 4.33 lakhs to INR 5.49 lakhs).

Based on the same platform as the Datsun Go hatchback (which traces its roots to the Nissan Micra's V Platform), the Go+ is a compact MPV measuring 3,995 mm in length. Thus, the car stands to benefit from the small car excise duty norms in India, allowing Nissan to price it competitively.
