The Go+ is a compact, sub-4m MPV with three row seating.

The Go+ will be the second model for Datsun in India, and will launch in the country this year, as confirmed by Datsun themselves. The announcement was made at the Auto Expo, where the car had its Indian unveiling.

The Go+ is built on the same platform as the Go, which in turn is based on the Nissan Micra. The highlight of the Go+ is that it measures only 3,995 mm in length. This, along with its 1.2-liter petrol engine, ensures the Go+ being classified as a ‘small car’ in India, thereby reducing its excise duty from 20 percent (for mid-size cars) to 8 percent. Hence, expect the Go+ to be one of the most affordable modern MPVs in India.

This year the Go+ became the first Datsun to launch for the Indonesian market.

Power for the Go+ comes from the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine seen on the Go hatchback. This engine outputs 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque on both cars and comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Go hatchback manages an ARAI-claimed efficiency of 20.63 km/l with this engine.
