Will be powered by the 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. C. Manoj, snapped the Renault Lodgy MPV while it was testing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where the car will also be manufactured. These images of the rear show the overall boxy shape of the MPV, which will rival the likes of the Mobilio and Innova when launched. The presence of parking sensors and a rear view camera is seen as well.
Inside, the Lodgy is expected to get a functional cabin similar to the Duster with plenty of parts sharing. Circular AC vents, chrome-ringed dials, an infotainment system and a 3-spoke steering wheel would be seen inside.

Powering the Lodgy will be the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K9K diesel engine which would produce about 85 PS (83.83 bhp) and come with a 5-speed manual transmission. In Europe, the car (badged as a Dacia) measures 4.5 m in length, 1.75 m in width, 1.68 m in height, and 2.81 m in wheelbase, offering 207 liters of storage space when the seats are in place, and expands to 2,617 liters when the rear seats are folded.
