Renault India have confirmed the launch of the Renault Duster AWD for September 24. Ahead of the launch, the company has released a video trailer of the car, which is seen below.

Based on the top-end Duster 110 PS variant, the Duster AWD adds the feature of 4WD using a Shift-on-the-fly mechanism. A knob located in the center console allows the driver to choose from three driving modes - 2WD, Auto or Lock (Differential Lock).
Additionally, the Duster AWD also gets a traction control system and a new steering wheel. Other changes inside include a new instrument cluster with instantaneous fuel consumption display, and red inserts for the seats.
Powering the Duster AWD is the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K9K diesel engine which is capable of producing 110 PS (108.45 bhp) and 248 Nm of torque, and comes paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Duster AWD will be recognized on the outside by its side body decals, tinted headlights, smoked alloy wheels, and a '4WD' badge on the bootlid.
