Gets a comprehensively updated dashboard with new plastics.
Seen here is the redesigned interior of the new Mahindra Scorpio which has its launch on September 25. Mahindra have designed an all-new dashboard for the SUV, and based on these images, it looks far more modern than that of the outgoing model.
As reported previously, the steering wheel is borrowed from the more expensive XUV500, and gets integrated controls for the music system and cruise control.
The center console sports a fresh look thanks to redesigned AC vents with chrome surrounds (the current Scorpio comes with circular vents), and a touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation. Resting below the music system are the controls for the automatic climate control system, a first on the Scorpio.
The central tunnel gets new plastic covers for the gearlever and handbrake lever, and extends to the rear to end with the rear AC vents. This apart, the new Scorpio's insides will also get a new instrument cluster with a redone multi-information display and repositioned switches for the power windows.
