The refreshed Scorpio will get redesigned light clusters and a new grille.

The company wants to build an inventory of 5,000 units before the launch. This would avoid or reduce the demand-supply gap, as was the case with the XUV500 when it was launched three years ago.

The Scorpio facelift will see design changes come in the form of redesigned headlight clusters, a new grille, a tweaked bonnet, new alloy wheel patterns, LED taillights and projector headlights. Inside, the SUV is reported to be vastly improved compared to its predecessor thanks to a new dashboard with better plastics.

Mechanically though, the Scorpio will continue using the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which does duty on the current model. However, engineers have worked on improving the NVH levels of the SUV, gearbox and have also changed the suspension settings of the car.
