The Ford Ka+ (Ka sedan) which was previewed by the Ford Figo Sedan concept has been photographed testing without camouflage in Brazil by Noticias Automotivas' reader Mr. William Ribeiro.
The Ka hatchback has just been launched in the Latin American nation while the Ka+ sedan would be launched later this year, probably at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in October.
The Ka+ inherits the hatchback's design till the B-Pillar post which it gets a steeply raked thickish C-pillar that blends into a stubby boot. The Brazilian compact sedan is slightly longer than the sub-4 metre India-bound model, and thereby offers more boot volume.
The interior is a copy+paste of the Ka hatchback and is equipped with the Ford SYNC multimedia infotainment system with AppLink system.
The Ka+ is powered by a 1.5-litre flex fuel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The motor, which would also be introduced in the Ka at a later stage, has a power output of 111 PS (109 bhp). An automatic transmission could also be on the cards.
The Ka and Ka+ will be launched in India as the next gen Figo twins with production expected to commence at Ford India's upcoming Sanand plant on 1st of April 2015.
