Minor revisions and a new diesel engine give the A7 its mid-life facelift.
Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Jayesh Menon, snapped the 2015 Audi A7 (facelift) testing in India. While it might be extremely difficult to identify the refreshed A7 from the older model based on this image, there are a couple of differentiating factors located within the taillights.
The 2015 model gets LED bands/strips for its brake lights whereas the pre-facelift model does without this feature. Also, the indicator lenses on the refreshed A7 are a bit tinted. Save for these differences, the other exterior changes lie at the front, where Audi has extended the sports coupe its Matrix LED lighting system, and a redesigned bumper and grille.
Inside, updates come in the form of a new MMI system with touch interface and Nvidia graphics processor, and new materials and inlays for the dashboard and seats.
Mechanically, the refreshed A7 was given Audi's new 3.0-liter V6 TDI Clean Diesel engine which outputs up to 268 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. The A7 seen in this spyshot could be using this engine as indicated by the badging on the bootlid.
An official source told Indian Autos Blog that the refreshed A7 would launch next year. The company imports the car as a CBU and this would continue unchanged.
