Audi India will introduce the next generation Audi TT sportscar and the refreshed A7 and RS 7 next year, Indian Autos Blog was told by official sources recently.
Although the new TT made its premiere in March this year at the Geneva Motor Show, European sales of the sportscar doesn't start until later this year. Based on a completely new platform, the new TT is 50 kg lighter than its predecessor and more efficient as well.
Power for the car comes from 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine makes 230 bhp and 310 bhp in the TT-S, while the diesel puts out 184 bhp. Better driving dynamics and a new interior with Audi's brand new instrument panel are the other highlights of the 2015 TT.
The refreshed A7/RS 7 is yet to go on sale in Europe as it was announced only in late May this year. The refresh brings to the car the new Matrix LED headlight technology, new taillights, bumpers, alloy wheels and revised interiors.
Both, the TT and the A7 family, are imported to India via the CBU route, and this arrangement will not change when the new models launch.
