The launch of the TVS Victor was confirmed earlier this week and these maybe the first spyshots of the returning brand.
Bikeadvice.in has received some spyshots of what might look like a complete facelift for the TVS Phoenix 125. However, given the similarities between the two bikes, the overlook is possible.
It was confirmed on the sidelines of the launch of the TVS Star City+ earlier this week by TVS Group's chairman Venu Srinivasan that the Victor would be part of the company's portfolio for the commuter segment, alongside the TVS Sport, Phoenix 125 and the Star City+. While talking about the Victor, Srinivasan said that it would be "at a slightly higher level" of the commuter segment.
The company's head of New Product Development, Vinay Harne, had commented that the engine for the Victor would be part of the EcoThrust family of engines that powers the TVS Wego, Jupiter, Star City+ and Phoenix 125.
As for the spyshot, the bike is seen having an aggressively designed fuel tank and a completely redesigned exhaust pipe. Fresh designs for the seat, aluminium grab rail and taillight housing are also seen. As with a bike of the segment the Victor will compete in, the test mule has a single piston caliper disc brake at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
