Hyundai Motor Corporation has inaugurated its flagship showroom in Seoul, with the promise of opening more such showrooms in other major cities across the world. The second such showroom will come up in Moscow in the second half of this year.
The showroom, called the "Hyundai Motorstudio" was inaugurated in Gangnam, one of Seoul's busiest districts, said the company in a press release. Hyundai says that the new showroom shows a series of retail and cultural experiences, as well as exhibits that are engaging to the visitor. The showroom will communicate the company's future brand aspirations and direction, it said.
The Motorstudio has what Hyundai calls Car Rotators. This houses 9 full-size models of the Genesis that are rotated at a certain angle each month, allowing customers to see every side of the car, including its underbelly.
The building will also be used as an art gallery that will house international exhibits, says Hyundai. The five-floor building houses an auto library, a kids’ lounge, a premium customer lounge, a car-tuning lounge, a gallery and a cafe.
Hyundai had recently gone on a product launching spree in India, with 3 models launched in under a year, starting with the Hyundai Grand i10 and followed by the Santa Fe and the Xcent compact sedan.
