The Tata ADD Venture Concept showcased at the Auto Expo is for the “young, fun loving, technology-driven, active customer”, says Tata. Apart from the funky exteriors, the interiors are inspired by a “café lounge with flexible seating”.

If you think thats marketing talk, wait till you hear about the concept’s “Integrated hot drinks machine”! WOW!! Amazing week-end getaway machine! This would be a great VFM product aimed at the next-generation youth, if launched in India.

This time Tata Motors has worked hard for this concept vehicle so that Mr. Dilip Chabria could sit back and relax ;-)

The wheels, interiors, convenience features and space are amazing.

In addition to these, I would recommend:

    a. Two roof mounted LCD screens connected to the on-board entertainment system.

    b. The air-conditioning (HVAC) need to be powerful.

    c. There should be an on-board 800VA Transformer-less (TL) Power Inverter with power sockets at appropriate places – to power different gadgets/laptops.

    d. A roof top bicycle rack to carry adventure bicycles.

    e. A 12 Volts DC Refrigerator

    f. LED based Color change-able roof-top Ambient light rails, for night time, to set the right mood. (wouldn’t cost much)

    g. The Multi-Information-Display on the dashboard can be improved.

Here comes the Peace Mobile v2. The concept looks like a VW Type 2, just cannot wait for some creative soul to start painting this concept in the psychedelic hippy designs and colors and take it for a spin to the next Woodstock Festival. Definitely a vehicle for the next generation of college kids.
