Auto Expo Live – Accessorized Datsun Go showcased

Datsun brought along a couple of Go hatchbacks completely kitted up with accessories, which will be offered as part of the optional equipment to customers when the car goes on sale next month.

Judging by these show cars, we can expect Datsun to offer accessories such as alloy wheels, body graphics, rear spoiler, roof rails, reverse camera and an exhaust tip finisher in chrome.

The Go recently commenced production at Renault-Nissan’s plant in Chennai. Powered by a three-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine, the Go has its ARAI fuel economy rated at 20.6 km/l. The Go will be launched in three trim levels, all of which will be priced below INR 4 lakhs ex-Showroom. The ex-Showroom prices of the Go will remain standard across all cities in India.

Apart from showcasing these accessorized Go hatchbacks, Datsun world premiered their redi-Go small car concept. The Expo saw the Indian premiere of the Datsun Go+ MPV as well.

    Was at AutoExpo on Sunday, sat in Datsun. Absolutely cheap crap…

      Please dont give cheap comments about a brand created for the mass. People like you commented about maruti 800 like this 30 years ago , Today it has created the automobile revolution in India. Datsun is going to create new segments and it is going to be the new benchmark in its class.

        I think that Indian roads are already filled up to the limit with cheap and unsafe tin-boxes. Why to add more? It is not “brand for the masses”. This is just sheer “business and nothing personal” kind of stuff from Renault-Nissan for poor countries to loot the people and give them an impression that they own a CAR with foreign badge
